Moscow's International Photography Prize Winner

"On the top floor of that car-parking building, there is some kind of hiden night club. It is not easy to figure it out, since there seems to be no logical schedual for it's functioning...","...I took as many photos I could on the dancefloor, always being extra careful not to be spotted by the armed security guards..."

Ryan Conner's "Bore Affairs"

Another chapter of the apparently ultra-boring life of Ryan Connor.
This time the book's subject is traumatic love affairs, although, I chalange any of you readers to find the item love amongst those cursed 58 pages of printed paper. From hypochondric-hysterical to pathologically-fiendish, Connors' gals seem to have come straight out of Dante's fiery cave.

Moscow's International Photography Prize

It's the final countdown for the anouncement of this year's Moscow International Photography Prize winner. The competition which every year brings cameras and their respective owners to the Russian capital city, is this time innovating in terms of participation rules. An example for this is the fact that this year's theme does not take the shape of a phrase. The official poster for the event is the theme itself. (more details coming in the next hours)

Keith Aimfield's "Chair Game"

Inaugurated last friday at the Fochsworth Centre, London, the new Keith Aimfield's exhibition "Chair Game" leads us into the colision point between traditional sculpture and new media, in a surprisingly original way. The deliberatly exagerated presence of the tv screen, as a not always so obvious critique to post-modern art recipy, invites us for a significance gameplay between a closer and a global view over the exhibition. Interesting for all those interested! Seenable until this month's 27th!

New Liars Album out Now!

Finally, the long awaited remix album for the european Liars' experience, is available for our delight, humble mortals. Producers from all over queued for an interview chance with the New York labeling-proof-band, only finding their efforts to be vain. The trio knew exactly what they wanted, not only regarding the actual musical outcome, but as for the visual concept around this piece as well. Once again, the portuguese graphic artist José Cardoso (check his previous works here and here ) proved himself to be at the spotlights in what comes to today's cutting edge visual creation. It seems that the reasons to buy this album take shape in terms of quality and quantity. Thumbs up!
